Oh, so much love to the writers. This Fat Crush is an offering of gratitude to those who give us the language for things felt in our hearts, bods and at the periphery of our consciousness that we couldn’t quite name.

We crush hard on writers who help us notice the systems underneath things; the inherited stories about bodies, gender, productivity, wellness, selfhood, nature. The ways modern life asks us to constantly perform, optimize, improve, manage. These writers don’t offer neat answers or clean resolutions, they compose complexity. The writers we love make room for contradiction, humor, grief, desire, interdependence, mess. They invite us to grow.
